Ferry to Eminonu

Today I travelled from Uskudar to Eminonu by ferry. Ferry trips make me remember that I am in Istanbul.

This place attracts many tourists as many historical places are located there. Just before entering Golden Horn, one side is Eminonu and the other side is Karakoy.

Historical peninsula in Istanbul is the place where Topkapi Palace is located. Ottoman Sultans lived there until the early 19th century. There is also fabulous Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Mosque clearly defining the silhouette.

There are conservation policies implemented in order to protect this silhouette.

On the other side of Golden Horn, again visible from everywhere, there is Galata Tower which was Built by Genoese.

I just had enough time to drink coffee at Karakoy Starbucks. First photo is taken from there.
